Who is responsible for your personal data?

NANOMADE LAB, a French simplified joint-stock company (SAS), registered with the Toulouse Trade and Companies Register under number 878 882 067, is responsible for the personal data processed through this website.

Address: 2 place Pierre Potier, 31100 Toulouse, France
Email: contact@nanomade.com

This policy explains how we use personal data when you visit our website or contact our team.

Data we collect

When you contact us through a website form or by email, we collect the information you provide. Depending on the form and your request, this may include your name, professional email address, company, job title, country, contact details and the contents of your message.

Required fields are identified on each form. Without this information, we may be unable to process your request. Optional fields help us understand your needs.

Technical data, such as IP addresses, browser information and access logs, may also be processed by our hosting and security systems to operate and protect the website.

Please avoid including sensitive personal information or personal data about other people unless it is necessary for your request.

Why we use your data

We use your information to:

  • respond to enquiries and provide technical information;
  • discuss sensing applications, manufacturing requirements and potential projects;
  • prepare quotations or take other steps you request before entering into a contract;
  • follow up on your enquiry;
  • operate, maintain and secure the website;
  • comply with applicable legal obligations.

We rely on our legitimate interests in responding to professional enquiries, managing business relationships and protecting the website. Where processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, or to perform a contract with you, we rely on that contractual basis. Processing required by law is based on the relevant legal obligation.

Submitting a request does not subscribe you to a newsletter.

Who can access your data?

Your information is accessible to authorised Nanomade personnel who need it to handle your request or administer the website.

Service providers may process information on our behalf to provide website hosting, maintenance, security and email services. The website is hosted by OVH. Enquiries submitted through our forms are stored in the website administration system and sent by email to the relevant team.

We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose information where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

How long we retain your data

Our retention period for prospective customer enquiry data is a maximum of three years from collection or your last contact with us, unless the enquiry develops into a customer relationship or a longer period is required for a specific legal purpose.

Customer records and information relating to previous transactions are retained according to the applicable contractual, accounting and legal requirements. The temporary closure of the online shop does not automatically delete these records.

Technical and security records are retained for the period necessary for their purpose. Website email logs are configured for deletion after 14 days. This period is separate from the retention of enquiries and correspondence.

Cookies and videos

The website may use cookies necessary for its operation and security. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, although blocking necessary cookies may affect certain functions.

Non-essential cookies or trackers requiring consent must remain disabled until you have made the relevant choice through a consent mechanism.

Videos used on the website are hosted directly on the site rather than embedded from YouTube or Vimeo.

International transfers

The location of processing depends on the services used by our hosting, email and technical providers. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, applicable data protection requirements must be met, including an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, where relevant.

You can contact us for information about the providers and safeguards applicable to your data.

Your rights

Depending on the processing and the applicable legal conditions, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restriction of processing, or data portability.

You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your particular situation. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

To exercise your rights, email contact@nanomade.com. We may request additional information where necessary to verify your identity.

We normally respond within one month. This period may be extended by up to two further months where permitted by law; we will inform you of the extension and its reasons.

You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL: https://www.cnil.fr.
